Namaste or  Namaskar is a common gesture or spoken greeting in the India which expresses deep respect. The hands folded gesture of Namaste is made wordlessly while meeting a person and upon departure. Namaste gesture is a slight bow made with palms pressed together in front of the chest where fingers are pointed upwards.<br />
